Cadet Ashley Woods has taken on a project to help the young neglected children of the Dominican Republic. Her project included purchasing and making around 250 bracelets for the children to be delivered and distributed to small towns and villages in the local areas. She is accompanied by a medical team that also provides services to the same families and children.
The beads were constructed by the classes of JROTC cadets at Banks County High School in GA. This is a tremendous project and is a winning experience for those sharing and caring as well as those who receive the gifts. This activity of service learning and community service is exactly what is taught at Banks County HS.
CONGRATULATIONS to Ashley Woods and all the Cadets at BCHS.
